QA Manager
As ChooChee's QA Manager you will take the lead role in ensuring our products are the best possible quality and that time lines are achievable.
Responsibilities

As the leader of the ChooChee QA team, you are expected to streamline the QA methodology, processes and the interaction framework with stake holders (i.e. Development teams, Operations and Product Managers) and enforce it consistently with in the QA team and the stake holders.

Participate and Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and product managers during the requirement gathering to review and accept the requirements and time lines.

Define and manage a framework for developing and executing detailed test cases with in the QA team to deliver high quality software products and services

Review the current set of tools and standardize the tools for test cases automation, load testing and performance testing

Manage the QA planning for multiple projects to deliver against commitments to meet project timelines providing periodic status updates to the project team

Publish KPI on an ongoing basis to highlight the efficiency and effectiveness of QA

Publish release notes for all releases going to external test or for general release

Publish daily reports on status of projects within QA to clearly communication where the project stands.
Requirements
-
10+ years of software experience with the last 3 years as a QA manager

Proven ability to manage a dynamic QA environment within a startup company

Expert knowledge of QA processes, tools for test case management, test automation, test techniques and strategies and QA methodologies

Experience with software configuration management and release processes

Experience with web based technologies and testing of large volume commercial grade portals built using portlets, Java script and AJAX is preferable

Experience building testing frameworks for web applications or portals that support internationalization and localization

Prior experience with mobile application testing

In depth understanding of Selenium, QTP, Loadrunner, JMeter, QC and other test management, bug tracking and automation

Strong background in Linux/Unix environments including hands on experience using PERL or Python, XML and SQL is preferable

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Possesses strong analytical, process-oriented, and risk management abilities
